FLO, Mumbai Chapter, in partnership with Deutsche Bank is hosting an event �The Future Landscape of Mumbai � The Big Picture � with a key objective of reviving the growth of Mumbai as a world-class city through the eyes of the future citizens of Mumbai.

The event on 24th Sept will feature a presentation 'The Mumbai Megaproject' by Ashish Puntambekar, a young designer from Mumbai who has a vision to transform Mumbai into a world class city. The Nataraja foundation along with key partners will host similar events over the next few months where several young designers, students and experienced professionals will be invited to add to the ideas presented within the Mumbai Megaproject and to even suggest entirely new development plans. We hope to bring in the maximum possible community involvement from all of Mumbai�s citizens and most importantly the urban poor to realize Gandhiji�s vision of " Sarvodaya " , the rise of all.

We are not promising to find a complete solution nor are we promising to build a new Mumbai overnight but we believe that a city can evolve from chaos to a progressive state when there is active participation and involvement from the citizens who can conceptualize a better urban life through effective planning and design.

Besides viewing the vision for Mumbai through the eyes of the young citizens of Mumbai, the event includes an exciting panel discussion with some of the eminent personalities from the fields of Architecture, Heritage, Environment and moderated by none other than Meera Sanyal.

We need the support of all those who truly understand the importance of this city as a key global financial hub and the need to make improvements that can help sustain potential future growth of the city.
